Shame On MilkBoy Classic Union Tee Forrest
Back in 2010 when we were doing construction on MilkBoy Philadelphia, we were being picketed by one of the Philadelphia labor unions. We had never built anything in the city nor were we the ones spending the money (the owners of the property were), but we were the ones being targeted. One day they showed up at our old MilkBoy Coffee location in Ardmore with a big sign that read, "Shame On MilkBoy". At the time we were given the advice to ignore it, but it went on for many many months.. and actually lasted for two years. This was the early days of Twitter and Facebook and people took our silence as an admission of guilt and were posting things like, "What did MilkBoy do??" . Our sales were decreasing (we didn't realize that we were in the throes of a recession) so we felt we had to do something... something funny, but not too aggressive. Just above their 'Shame on MilkBoy' sign outside, in our window we had our own sign "Get your 'Shame on MilkBoy' t-shirts all proceeds go to a local charity. It went viral.. The t-shirts immediately sold out and then the news caught on, we were on the front page of Philadelphia Inquirer and the lead story on the Fox Sunday News.
Get your Shame Shirt now and all proceeds go to local charities!
The Bella+Canvas 3001 t-shirt feels soft and light, with just the right amount of stretch. It's comfortable and the unisex cut is flattering for both men and women. We can't compliment this shirt enough – it's one of our crowd favorites. And it's sure to be your next favorite too!
